I've almost met my goals. The house is almost clean. The laundry is almost caught up. And I am almost ready for my weekend trip (just me and a girlfriend-Woohoo!!). I've decided almost may be as close as I ever get to some goals. I would love to feel like I've got everything in perfect shape but perfection is never supposed to be our goal. It is not attainable and expecting it only sets us up for disappointed.
Now...an almost story on Maverick...
Yesterday they were playing outside on the front porch and there was a wasp buzzing around. It wasn't bothering them but Maverick was freaking out (shocking! I know). Anyway, the wasp landed on the window. I caught Maverick as he was ready to kill the wasp that was resting on our window...with an aluminum baseball bat. That was ALMOST a disaster!!
